Our annual Raise a Glass fundraising event will be VIRTUAL this year!
Grab a glass with your favorite beverage and join us on the Opportunity Place Facebook Page. We will virtually *toast* all of the individuals and organizations that enabled Opportunity Place to remain open and running at full capacity during the COVID-19 Pandemic. So many people made this possible and we want to take this opportunity to show our gratitude!
Friday June 12th
5:00 PM: Facebook LIVE Kickoff w/ Executive Director, Katie Cochran.
5:30 PM: Silent Auction – All items were generously donated and proceeds will directly support ongoing operations at Opportunity Place. There’s something fun for everyone and you can bid by posting a comment on any item! Don’t miss out on some amazing prizes– including photo sessions, massages, seafood feasts, wine baskets charcuterie boards and more! Auction ends Sunday June 14th at 5:00PM.
Raise a Glass
The week prior and throughout the event we will also be featuring video submissions from staff, residents, board members, and supporters. This is our chance to toast the many people who have been part of giving our residents an Opportunity to rebuild their lives. Join us in celebrating generosity by toasting someone in YOUR LIFE who has helped you through this time of pandemic.
Change a Life
If you are in a position to give and would like to couple your toast with a donation in the name of the person or organization YOU are toasting to, you can do so here– just add your “toast” to the notes section of your paypal donation. Your donation will change a life.
All proceeds will enable us to continue the work of providing a safe, supportive shelter for families and women experiencing homelessness, while empowering them to rebuild their lives and get back into their own home.
